There are diamonds that have been laser drilled, and that's a form of clarity enhancing where they drill down to a dark inclusion and bleach it out white. It's a permanent type of enhancement, once it's done it never changes. Really you could think of it like an inclusion, the laser drill hole is like an inclusion in the diamond. It should be disclosed to you. I think that there are jewelers that don't disclose that a diamond has been laser drilled. We do, we think that it's important that all clarity enhancements should be disclosed. But it is one of those types of enhancements that if you are happy with it when you purchase it you won't have any future problems. You will be happy with it in the future.

The other type of clarity enhancement is called fracture filling or filling. That is where they put a glass like material under heat and pressure and they force it into the feathers in the diamond. The diamond has to be fairly fractured to begin with, very visible to the eye before anyone is going to want to fill it with this filling. That definitely should be disclosed if someone if selling a fracture filled diamond. It also should be disclosed that there is a possibility for that filling could possibly come out right at the surface, at the edges of the feathers right on the surfaces and possibly may need to be refilled in the future. We do not really deal the much in fracture filled diamonds. If someone had an interest in that we could certainly talk to them about it, but it's not something that we keep in stock.
